A one-year paid marine policy fellowship administered by Washington Sea Grant at the University of Washington, placing recent or soon-to-graduate graduate students with state and local host offices working on ocean and coastal policy. Eligible degrees include policy, law, social sciences, oceanography, fishery sciences and marine technical fields. Fellows receive a $65,000 stipend plus a $3,500 professional development budget, and placements are made through a mandatory matching workshop. Awards are contingent on federal funding.
