Submit a Program to the WIGSAT Directory
Run a program for women or girls in STEM? Administer a scholarship that should be listed? Send the details and we will review for inclusion in the directory.
What to send
To submit a program for review, send an email with the following information:
- Program name
- Administering organization (with link to the organization's website)
- Country / region where the program operates
- Target audience (K-12, undergrad, graduate, professional, re-entry, etc.)
- Field(s) covered (computer science, engineering, biology, etc.)
- Brief description (200-400 words covering what the program does, when it operates, and what participants get)
- Eligibility criteria
- Application or enrollment process (including key deadlines)
- Cost / funding (free, partial scholarship, full scholarship, etc.)
- Approximate annual cohort size
- Outcomes data if available (placement rates, alumni statistics, evaluation outcomes)
- Your contact information
What we look for
We add programs that are:
- Operating - currently active, not announced-but-not-launched
- Substantive - real programs with meaningful curriculum, mentorship, or financial support, not single-event awareness initiatives
- Transparent - clear about eligibility, cost, and what participants receive
- Aligned - women and girls in STEM specifically (rather than general STEM with incidental women's participation)
What we do not list
- Programs that charge for inclusion or rely on quid-pro-quo arrangements
- Programs without an institutional sponsor or accountable administering organization
- Programs that operate primarily as marketing vehicles for unrelated commercial offerings
- Programs where the women-in-STEM positioning is incidental rather than central
Editorial process
Submissions are reviewed by the WIGSAT editorial team. We aim to respond to confirmed inclusions and corrections within four weeks. We may follow up with questions or request additional information. Once accepted, programs are added to the relevant directory pages and country indexes.
Corrections
If you spot an error in a listing - outdated information, incorrect program details, broken links - please send the correction the same way. Corrections are processed faster than new submissions and are typically applied within one to two weeks.
Contact
Send submissions and corrections to the editorial team via the email address provided on our About page. We do not accept submissions via web forms at this time to reduce spam.
