About This Program

The U.S. Digital Corps is a two-year federal fellowship for early-career technologists, run by the General Services Administration, that places fellows on government projects in areas including customer experience, public health, cybersecurity and artificial intelligence. Tracks span software engineering, data science and analytics, design, cybersecurity and product management. It is a salaried position with federal benefits rather than a stipend programme, and is aimed specifically at people at the start of their technology careers rather than mid-career specialists, which distinguishes it from the U.S. Digital Service and Presidential Innovation Fellows routes. More than 40 fellows in a recent cohort worked on AI-related projects. Cohorts recruit periodically, with a mailing list for application announcements.
