The PFF Scholars program engages early-career investigators in pulmonary fibrosis research, supporting postdoctoral trainees, instructors, and assistant professors as they work toward NIH 'K' or 'R' level independent funding. Introduced in 2019, it replaced the Foundation's earlier junior and established investigator awards. Applicants must be within 12 years of completing their terminal degree.
