NIH administrative supplements that enable researchers returning to biomedical research after a career break of two or more years due to personal circumstances to re-enter their careers. Awards support up to three years of salary and research costs and are added to an existing NIH grant at the sponsoring institution. Though open to all genders, the program was designed with women's career trajectories in mind and is administered by ORWH.
