An eight-month, full-time paid research apprenticeship that pairs aspiring machine learning researchers with the Cohere Labs research team to work on open problems in machine learning, including efficiency, multilingual modelling and safety. The cohort begins each January, the team is remote-first with optional access to Cohere offices, and prior research experience is not required. Applications open annually, typically around August.
