A nine-week in-person AI safety research fellowship run by the Cambridge Boston Alignment Initiative from an office in Harvard Square, Cambridge, Massachusetts, accepting roughly 30 fellows per cohort. Fellows receive $10,000 over the fellowship, up to $10,000 in compute support through API credits and GPUs, plus accommodation, meals and workspace. Open to undergraduates, Master's and PhD students, postdocs and recent graduates aged 18 or over who hold valid US work authorisation (OPT and CPT are accepted; visa sponsorship is not available). Acceptance requires matching with a mentor through a four-stage application process. CBAI also runs an AIxBiosecurity Fellowship.
