The Alpha-1 Foundation funds postdoctoral research fellows beginning their careers in laboratories studying Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency (AATD). Open to candidates holding an M.D., Ph.D., or equivalent who commit at least 50% of their time to AAT-related basic, clinical, or ethical/legal/social research. The Foundation uses an annual Letter of Intent followed by an invited full-application cycle.
