Wyoming's statewide merit-and-need scholarship for graduates of Wyoming public high schools, homeschools and High School Equivalency Certificate programmes, usable at the University of Wyoming and the state's community colleges. Awards run up to $2,360 per semester and are structured in four levels — Honors, Performance, Opportunity and Provisional — determined by a combination of high school curriculum, GPA and ACT, SAT or WorkKeys scores, with the amount also reflecting demonstrated financial need. The distinguishing feature is the Hathaway Success Curriculum, a defined college-preparatory course sequence that students must complete to qualify; its mathematics requirement goes beyond Wyoming's graduation minimum and must include algebra coursework, making the award a direct incentive for taking advanced high school maths and science. Students must be US citizens or permanent residents meeting federal Title IV requirements and must demonstrate Wyoming residency through the institution.
