A Kentucky Higher Education Assistance Authority scholarship funding up to 60 credit hours tuition-free toward an industry-recognised certificate, diploma or associate of applied science degree, with some credentials completable in four months or less. Five high-demand workforce sectors qualify: advanced manufacturing, construction, transportation and logistics, business services and information technology, and healthcare. Applicants must be Kentucky residents, must hold a high school diploma or GED, must be US citizens or permanent residents, and must never have earned an associate degree; they must be enrolled or accepted at an eligible Kentucky institution in an approved high-demand programme. Delivered through KCTCS and participating private and public institutions including Eastern Kentucky University, Campbellsville University and Beckfield College. Students file the FAFSA, set up a MyKHEAA account and submit the scholarship form; award status is tracked at kheaa.com. Semester deadlines apply, for example 1 December for spring.
