Western Michigan University
One of the largest aviation programmes in the United States and the only comprehensive aviation programme at a public university in Michigan, with majors spanning flight science, aviation maintenance technology, aviation technical operations and aviation management and operations. The college reports in its 2024-25 career outcomes report that 94 percent of its aviation graduates are working or continuing their education and that 92 percent had instructors who made them excited about learning, and it has been ranked among the best flight schools in the world by Study International.
