A State of Wisconsin scholarship awarded by the Higher Educational Aids Board to Wisconsin high school seniors with the highest demonstrated proficiency in technical education subjects. The award is worth up to $2,250 per year toward tuition for up to three years (six semesters), with the Higher Educational Aids Board paying half of the $2,250 and the receiving college paying the other half from its own funds. The scholarship may only be used at a school within the Wisconsin Technical College System located in the state. Students must meet the eligibility criteria set by the Higher Educational Aids Board and must be nominated by their high school; there is no direct student application.
