Women In Defense
An annual scholarship of approximately $5,000 from Women In Defense encouraging women to pursue careers in US national security, defense, or foreign policy at the undergraduate or graduate level. Awards are based on academic achievement, participation in defense and national security activities, field of study, work experience, and financial need. Applications are accepted each winter with a spring deadline; the program has awarded over $1 million since its founding in 1988.
