About This Program

A 10-to-12-week summer research fellowship at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution for undergraduates who have completed their junior or senior year and are considering a career in ocean sciences, marine policy, or oceanographic engineering. Each Fellow works on an independent project with a WHOI scientist as sponsor, attends seminars, and joins a hands-on ocean-sampling cruise aboard the R/V Tioga. Fellows receive a weekly stipend and Institution housing.
