Wenner-Gren Foundation for Anthropological Research
The Dissertation Fieldwork Grant funds doctoral dissertation research in anthropology, explicitly including archaeology alongside socio-cultural, linguistic and biological anthropology. Awards are up to $25,000, nonrenewable, with no duration limit, and applicants of any nationality or institution may apply. Applicants must complete all program requirements except the dissertation before the start date. Deadlines are May 1 and November 1 each year.
