A paid, 8-month to one-year Forest Service internship delivered with partner Environment for the Americas, placing students and recent graduates in forest management, recreation, research and conservation roles nationwide. Resource Assistants who complete 960 hours and hold an associate degree or higher become eligible for direct hire and two-year noncompetitive hiring authority with the Forest Service.
