Two families of student awards from the US Aquaculture Society, a chapter of the World Aquaculture Society. Travel awards support students attending and presenting at the annual conference and are judged on the submitted abstract against the criteria attached to each particular award, with recipients notified before the conference. Presentation awards recognise oral and poster presentations and are judged at the conference against a standard rubric, with recipients announced afterwards. The awards span abstracts, aquatic equipment, videos, papers and oral presentations, and many are underwritten by corporate, private and educational sponsors. Current USAS student membership is required at abstract submission unless an individual award states otherwise.
