Uruguay's national science clubs program, run by the Ministry of Education and Culture, in which student groups guided by an adult orientador carry out research projects. Clubs present at departmental fairs between August and September, and those earning a special mention advance to the national fair. Categories range from early childhood through upper secondary and tertiary students.
