A ten-week summer fellowship at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's Nebraska Center for Materials and Nanoscience, carrying a $6,000 stipend plus room and meal plan, travel expenses, campus parking or bus pass, recreation centre access and funded travel to present at the NNCI REU convocation in San Diego. Projects run across Physics, Mechanical and Materials Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Civil Engineering and Chemical Engineering, covering magnetic domains, spin transport, advanced manufacturing, polymer nanomaterials, oxide heterostructures, carbon nanotube sensors, nanomedicine, microfluidics, photonic devices and 3D tissue fabrication. Applicants must be US citizens or permanent residents with at least one semester of coursework remaining before their bachelor's degree.
