A long-running summer mathematics REU at the University of Chicago, pairing undergraduates with graduate-student and faculty mentors on research and expository projects, with schedules, abstracts and mentorship pairings published each year. University of Chicago students apply through Handshake; students from other institutions apply by February 6 through MathPrograms.org, with an optional research statement upload.
