About This Program

A paid earn-and-learn apprenticeship at TSMC's Arizona semiconductor fabrication site, open to applicants aged 18 or over who hold a high school diploma or GED and are authorised to work in the US without sponsorship. Tracks run 18-24 months for Facilities Technician and 36-48 months for Process Technician and Equipment Technician, with a 15-week intensive route for Manufacturing Specialist. Apprentices earn an hourly wage set as a percentage of journeyperson pay that rises with time and performance, plus 401(k) match, health and life insurance and paid leave, and receive a journeyman card on completion. Classroom instruction is delivered with Estrella Mountain Community College, Rio Salado Community College, Northern Arizona University and Grand Canyon University. The 2026 cohort begins in August 2026.
