An eight-week summer research programme at TIFR Hyderabad running from May to July, open to students in the final year of a three-year B.Sc. and to pre-final or final year students of M.Sc., Integrated M.Sc., four-year B.Sc. or B.Tech./B.E. programmes. PhD students and repeat applicants are not eligible. Selected students receive a stipend of Rs 9,000 a month, travel reimbursement under TIFR rules and free shared accommodation. Applications are made directly or routed through the Science Academies. TIFR Hyderabad also runs a separate semester-long visiting programme for master's and professional-degree final-year projects, arranged directly with faculty. Note that the corresponding VSRP at TIFR Mumbai is suspended; the Hyderabad, NCRA Pune and ICTS Bengaluru programmes continue.
