A fully funded international STEM exchange sponsored by the US Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs in partnership with Legacy International. Participants take part in a 23-day summer exchange in the United States built around an interactive tech camp at a partnering university, an in-depth look at cutting-edge technologies and STEM education and career paths, community immersion in a US city such as Austin, Cincinnati, Denver, Detroit, Kansas City or Seattle, and STEM career exploration including job shadowing, followed by seven months of mentorship supporting a community-based project. Open to young women aged 15 to 17 from the United States and selected countries across Sub-Saharan Africa, East Asia and the Pacific, Europe and Eurasia, the Middle East and North Africa, South and Central Asia and the Western Hemisphere. The 2026 cohort brings together 111 participants from 37 countries plus 13 US peers.
