TechForce Foundation runs a single general application that matches students to rolling scholarship and grant awards across auto, aviation, collision, diesel, marine, motorcycle, motorsports, restoration, welding, and emerging technologies. Tuition scholarships support financially disadvantaged high-school graduates, career-changing adults, and veterans entering post-secondary technician education, while Life Happens emergency funds help students hit by a sudden financial shock stay enrolled. Relocation grants are also offered with industry partners. The foundation reports $18 million in scholarships and grants awarded since 2007 to 65,000 students, with 16.5 per cent of awards going to veterans, across a network of more than 1,200 partner schools.
