A partnership model in which the Stamps Foundation funds scholarships jointly with 38 partner institutions in the US and UK, including Georgia Tech, the University of Michigan, Dartmouth, Notre Dame and the US Military Academy at West Point. Annual awards run from 20,000 to 98,000 dollars, giving four-year totals of roughly 80,000 to 392,000 dollars, and each scholar additionally receives enrichment funding for study abroad, academic conferences and leadership training, which is what makes the award useful for research-track undergraduates. Scholarships are awarded by the partner schools rather than by the foundation, so application routes and benefit levels vary by institution and students apply through the school directly. Most partners award four-year scholarships to incoming first-year students, and some offer walk-on awards to second- and third-year students.
