Sultan Qaboos University
Sultan Qaboos University in Muscat is Oman's flagship public university and the country's main research institution, with colleges spanning science, engineering, agricultural and marine sciences, medicine and nursing. Its Deanship of Postgraduate Studies runs three strands of support for postgraduate students, open to both Omani and international candidates: SQU scholarships, sponsorship seats, and financial support for PhD students. Each strand has its own eligibility rules and application window, published alongside the deanship's important dates.
