Five annual scholarships of $10,000 each awarded to US citizen women pursuing undergraduate or graduate degrees in optics, photonics, or a related engineering field at US institutions, sponsored by SPIE, Optimax, and Janet Fender. The program aims to expand the optics and photonics workforce through increased representation of women. Applications are reviewed each spring with a February deadline.
