The Society of Toxicology's undergraduate track gives students free Undergraduate Student Affiliate status and a set of competitive awards attached to the SOT Annual Meeting. The Undergraduate Student Research Award provides travel funding, national recognition and a mentor to students whose research abstract is accepted; the companion Undergraduate Development Program Student Travel Award covers travel and lodging for a three-day programme at the meeting, and the Experiential Opportunities Career Development Award funds professional development activities. SOT also lists summer research internships in academic, industrial and government toxicology laboratories from January to April each year and provides matching funds to some intern hosts.
