About This Program

Paid four- to sixteen-month work terms at SNOLAB, the deep underground astroparticle physics laboratory about 25 km from Sudbury, Ontario. Eligible applicants are registered in post-secondary or apprenticeship studies, are recent graduates within three to six months, or are returning to full- or part-time study; they must be 18 or older and legally able to work in Canada, and salary is set by year of study at the start of the term. Terms begin in January, May and September, with application windows in mid-September, mid-January and mid-May respectively. SNOLAB scientists also co-supervise graduate students, including through partner universities such as Laurentian, Alberta, Carleton, Montreal and Queen's.
