Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History
A ten-week NSF-funded summer REU at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History in Washington, DC, pairing undergraduates with museum scientists on research in anthropology, botany, entomology, invertebrate zoology, mineral science, paleobiology or vertebrate zoology. Includes a stipend, travel allowance and dormitory housing; no prior research experience required.
