The Simons Dissertation Fellowship supports full-time PhD students in mathematics departments at US institutions who are in the later years of their doctoral studies. The fellowship provides research funding over two years to help outstanding students complete their dissertations. Applications are submitted through the Simons Award Manager during an annual cycle.
