Since 1922, Sigma Xi's GIAR program has funded student-designed research projects across all STEM disciplines for both undergraduate and graduate students. Membership is not required to apply, and international applications are welcome. Two application cycles run each year, and the program encourages applications from women and underrepresented groups.
