Society for Historical Archaeology
SHA offers student travel awards for presenting at its annual conference, including the Ed and Judy Jelks Student Travel Award and up to ten Robert L. Schuyler Student Travel Awards ($1,500 each) for undergraduate or graduate student members, plus ACUA maritime archaeology travel awards ($1,000). It also offers the Jamie Chad Brandon Student Paper Prize ($500), the Quebec City Award for French-language students (up to $1,500), and the Kathleen Kirk Gilmore Dissertation Award ($2,000) for recent PhD recipients. Most awards require SHA membership and presenting at the annual meeting.
