A two-year online training programme from the Society for Neuroscience for graduate students and postdoctoral researchers who are citizens of the United States. Up to 16 applicants are named Fellows and receive complimentary SfN membership for two years, travel awards to the annual meeting, up to $1,500 in enrichment funds and a dedicated mentoring team; the next 100 eligible applicants become Associates with access to the online mentoring community and webinars. The 2026 application closed on 13 February and the next cycle opens in January 2027. Because the training itself runs online, it does not require relocation — unusual for a mentored neuroscience programme of this length.
