The Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry runs a portfolio of awards, grants and financial stipends for students and early-career professionals working across environmental toxicology, chemistry, risk assessment and life-cycle analysis. The North America programme includes student travel support and exchange awards, among them a graduate student exchange with the American Chemical Society Environmental Division, and SETAC's regional chapters run their own additional travel grants. The North America award application cycle is currently closed and reopens in January 2027; SETAC Europe runs a separate awards and fellowships track.
