A scholarship from SENEDIA, the Alliance for Defense Tech, Talent, and Innovation, for New England students in a science, technology, engineering or mathematics field with the potential to support the future national security and defense sector workforce; qualifying majors include engineering, computer science, cybersecurity, information technology and mathematics. Five awards of $2,000 each are made per cycle. Applicants must be US citizens and residents of Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island or Vermont, and must be completing a two-year associate degree in the award year or entering their third year of study or higher. Applicants are judged in part on a 500-word essay describing their interest in a STEM career in the defense industry.
