A $2,500 scholarship for a working sonographer with at least two years of full-time sonography experience who has been accepted into or is enrolled in an advanced sonography-related degree programme at bachelor's, master's, or doctoral level, including degrees in management, health, or education, at an accredited U.S. institution. Funds may be applied to tuition, books, or education fees. Applicants must be current individual SDMS members at the time of application, award, and payment, submit a Federal Student Aid Report (FAFSA) with the online application, and remain enrolled at least 90 days after the application period ends. Applications are due annually by June 30 for expenses incurred the following July through June, and the application reopens each January 1. An individual may receive this scholarship once in their lifetime.
