A free quantum information science summer camp run by Sandia National Laboratories for high school students and for teachers, with stipends provided so participants are not choosing between the camp and a summer job. The only prerequisites are basic algebra and an interest in learning more, which makes it one of the few genuine on-ramps into quantum at secondary level. In 2026 the student session runs 29 June to 24 July and the educator session 22–26 June. QCaMP is delivered in partnership with the Quantum Systems Accelerator, a Department of Energy National Quantum Information Science Research Center.
