Samsung Austin Semiconductor's technician career track, beginning with a paid ten-week summer Fab Intern placement open to applicants aged 18 or over who are high school graduates or current Austin Community College students on a qualifying degree plan in Advanced Manufacturing, Engineering Technology or Computer Information Technology. Interns who complete the placement can progress to the Fab Apprentice programme, working two days a week at Samsung Austin while studying for an Associate's degree at Austin Community College, with tuition and books paid in full provided a 3.0 GPA is maintained. Separate engineering-track routes include an 11-week paid college summer internship and the Samsung Emerging Engineer Development programme for new graduates.
