Up to two $5,000 scholarships a year from the Society of American Archivists, established in 2008, providing financial and mentoring support to students of colour pursuing graduate education in archival science. Each recipient also gets a year of complimentary SAA membership and free registration for that year's Annual Meeting. Applicants must be a citizen or permanent resident of the United States or Canada, be of American Indian/Alaska Native, Asian, Black/African American, Hispanic/Latinx, Middle Eastern/North African, or Native Hawaiian/Other Pacific Islander descent, and be enrolled in - or have applied to - a graduate or multi-course programme in archival administration offering at least three archival science courses or listed in the SAA Directory of Archival Education.
