Ron Brown Scholar Program
Awards about twenty four-year scholarships of $40,000 ($10,000 per year) to Black/African American high school seniors who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents and demonstrate academic excellence, leadership, community service, and financial need. The scholarship may be used in any academic discipline at a four-year degree-granting U.S. college or university. The application for the 2027 competition is open; final applications are due December 1 and counselor recommendations and transcripts by December 15.
