Paul Scherrer Institute
An eight- to twelve-week paid summer research internship at the Paul Scherrer Institute, Switzerland's largest research centre for natural and engineering sciences, covering photon science, neutron and muon research, energy and environment, scientific computing and particle physics. Students join a PSI research group and work on a project, alongside lectures on PSI research, campus tours, lightning talks and social activities. The main audience is bachelor students who will graduate by the following summer, or students already enrolled in a master's programme, with at least three years of university study in physics, another natural science, engineering or IT. Financial support covers local living costs.
