Point Foundation's award for LGBTQ+ students from low-income backgrounds or who are the first in their family to attend college, at accredited not-for-profit US institutions. It shares the Flagship programme's holistic merit-and-need review and its absence of an age limit or requirement to be enrolled when applying, but is written for applicants whose barrier is financial and structural rather than academic record alone. Point also runs a Community College Scholarship for students earning an associate degree or transferring to a four-year institution, and an Internship and Professional Development Award funding summer career experiences; both open on their own cycles alongside Flagship and Access.
