Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada (PDAC)
An international competition in which teams of mineral geoscience university students turn provided regional geoscience datasets into an interpretation of subsurface geology and mineralisation targets; registration for the 2027 challenge is open. It is open to students enrolled in an undergraduate earth science degree or postgraduate (master's or PhD) research, teams must meet at least two forms of team diversity, and benefits include cash prizes, industry feedback and educational software licenses.
