About This Program

An eight-week paid summer research internship at the OHSU Knight Cancer Institute in Portland, Oregon, placing upper-level undergraduates in cancer biology and biomedical informatics labs with an assigned mentor. The stipend is $4,500 for the full eight weeks, running late June to mid-August. Applicants must be at least 18, have completed two years of college, not be graduating before the programme starts, and be available full-time with no breaks. Placements are at the South Waterfront or Marquam Hill campuses. The January deadline is early relative to most summer research programmes, so it is easy to miss if you only start looking in spring.
