A UK programme placing students in the first year of a post-16 STEM course alongside professional scientists, technologists, engineers, and mathematicians for a four to six week project over the summer holidays. Placements are hosted by universities, commercial companies, research institutions, and voluntary organisations across the UK, with over a thousand students taking part each year. Applications open in December for the following summer.
