About This Program

A slate of awards for students and practitioners in histotechnology, the laboratory discipline that prepares tissue for diagnostic pathology. Student Scholarships of US$500 go to current NSH student members from approved histotechnology programs, Professional Scholarships award US$1,000, the Molecular Histotechnology Advancement award is US$500, and Convention Travel and Convention Poster Travel scholarships each provide US$750 plus meeting registration. The Peggy Wenk Program award of US$5,000 supports histotechnology program directors and coordinators. Applicants supply letters of recommendation and a statement of intent; previous recipients may not reapply for the same award.
