About This Program

Paid 16-week co-op work terms at the National Research Council of Canada for students in science, engineering and technology, with placements also available in business, public relations, communications, library sciences, marketing and administration. Applicants must be enrolled at a Canadian university or college with an accredited co-op program and hold a minimum B average; Canadian citizens and permanent residents are eligible, as are foreign students with valid study permits. Salaries rise with the number of work terms completed and travel expenses are reimbursed. Terms are offered in fall, winter and spring/summer, and students apply through their institution's co-op office, which receives NRC postings.
