A National Park Service programme that places hundreds of college students, recent graduates and early-career professionals across the National Park System each year to work on natural resource management needs. Positions span biological science, physical science, social science and science communication. Applicants may apply for up to five positions per season and must be US citizens or permanent residents; the stipend runs roughly $675 to $775 per week. Two seasons are offered: summer projects starting between May and September, with applications closing in mid-February, and winter projects starting between October and April, with an application window from early May to mid-June.
