A Dutch government scholarship for international students from outside the European Economic Area starting a full-time bachelor's or master's programme at a participating Dutch research university or university of applied sciences. It is financed by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science together with the participating institutions and is worth EUR 5,000, paid in the first year of study - a contribution toward costs rather than a full tuition waiver. Applicants must not already hold a degree from a Dutch institution, and must meet the specific requirements of the institution they apply to, since each participating school runs its own selection. Open across all disciplines, so STEM applicants compete alongside every other field.
